Life is just so fragile. Last Wednesday, I walked past this corridor near the cookhouse and I saw 2 dead birds lying on the ground. Mind you, they were small and just look like they did not hatch too long ago. Alas, the answer was found when I saw this nest that was dislodged from this small gap in the roofing. The birds must have shook the nest quite a bit and sending themselves to their impending doom.
And speaking of which, this poignant image of the debris of AF 447 found by the search teams just somehow reminds me of something ironic. That is the rudder of the plane remaining pretty much intact after the incident. Its triangular shape and position on a plane just reminds me of the dorsal fin of sharks, doesn't it? Just as we grief when we see the triangular 'fin' of the plane floating in the water, the fishermen who catch sharks, cut off their fins and throw them back into the ocean to die hardly dropped a tear when they see the triangular fin of the shark because it represents income for them.shermon blogged @ 9:11 pm
