ok, today is the release of spore. i, being a true computer gamer, pre-ordered this game a fortnight ago.
the pre-order card stated that the game can be redeemed today @ funan. first 200 person gets free spore-related free gifts. fair enough, but i just want to get my game and go back to play.
when i got to the 4th floor, i got shocked. there was a long queue of ppl holding the pre-order cards. i was like, ok, seems like there's around 50 ppl in the queue. hence, i took a walk around to see if there are any shorter queues. to my utmost horror, what i saw initially was only 1/5 of the whole queue.
truly defeated, i left funan. queueing would have sucked up my precious bookout times. i decided to collect it at another more convenient time instead.
back to study. these 2 weeks will make or break my pro term. last theory exam tmr and final practical test next tuesday. i hope everything goes well and don't get chopped.
meanwhile, the weekends still seem as boring as usual. sometimes i wonder why i am cooping myself in the house. is it because i have a computer in my room? my parents always nagged me to go out more but seriously, i am not such an outgoing person. i prefer quiet days spent in front of the comp listening to my music or the radio.
or maybe, it's just because i am too lazy to venture out of this comfort zone i have demarcated around my computer.
something needs to be done.
i can always procrastinate, later.
