anyway ytd was vesak day. well it takes an occasion such as this for me to reflect what it means and what it takes to be a buddhist. is it merely just a religion to identify myself with or am i truly subscribing to its beliefs? there was plenty of time for reflection ytd since i went to bright hill temple for the 3-steps-1-prayer ritual. doing this for a 1+ km route is no joke. it gave me lotsa time for self-reflection and i was glad that i was just able to finish it. on comparison i would rather run two 2.4s than do that ritual again in the near future.
