ok back to school. the last post was on 18th dec. there was actually a draft post on 29 dec, but i guess i got distracted by a dota game and never got around to completing it. the new blogger interface takes a while to load anyway, adding to the lack of motivation to complete that post.
anyway, to cut everything short, from that time to now, i went hk, played, shopped, ate and came back. prepared for school, went to a pre-school-reopening bbq with darren lai very nicely consenting to come.
and ya, 3rd jan came. there were a few changes for the year. first, now i knew why my class' lockers are on the 7th floor. turns out that our homeroom is a72. as jeff said, the ri canteen is closer than the rj canteen. nevertheless, this has been compensated by aircons in classrooms. as iw said, climbing stairs everyday might improve standing broad jump. second, the walking time between has been reduced to 5 mins, which is bad considering our classroom's position, but this means that we get released earlier everyday. canteen food is still like last year, but there's instant food from 7-11 as an extra option.
and yes, i have a new chem teacher. my words came back to haunt me. when i was told that there was this chem tchr from acjc coming to rj, my response was, "I don't think he is going to teach me because my chem teacher is good and I do not think he is leaving." 7 mths later, it seems that this teacher is teaching me after all. I guess he is a rather formidable chem teacher. I tried trying to derail his chem pract by randomly blabbing about 2nd deprotonation and he explained clearly point-by-point without even thinking. additionally, he gives random chem trivias. the only 2 more knowledgeable chem tchrs i have seen are wong tze yang and chua loy chuan. i guess it's rather good to be on my guard now.
and i shall go back to my homework. there is a rather significant pile of them.
