of all the tutors that i have this year, given a choice, i would like to change 3/4 of them for the content based subjs. not that they are not good, but somehow i feel that they are ill-suited to teach a class that is as dead and dao and boring as 6h.
yet today, that 1/4 said that he is leaving. it was a worst case scenario, darren lai no more our chem tutor. rather difficult to imagine chem lessons without him, but i guess we will ahve to respect his decision to further his career. perhaps the best we can do is to wish him well in the future, but chem lessons and lectures will never be the same again. hope that his replacement is decent enough to keep my interests in chem alive and produce a decent chem grade from time to time.
zeyan rox. his lessons on drills to npcc cadets: Doing drills is like wooing a girl. If you are too fast, she will be furious. If you are slow and steady, she will be happy. The cadets' reactions were something like o_O. I was quite sure something resembling "He must be experienced in such areas." being muttered among the cadets. lol.
chem quiz was screwed up for the first session, but the 2nd session was much much more successful with zero screwups. I guess that is good after spending so much time preparing for it and sleeping for a total of around 6~7 hours for the last 2 nights.
That's all. I am too tired today. Wish those going for phy o tmr gd luck, although i m not so gosu to be in phy o squad, but nevertheless gd luck to ppl like ee sin, gbl, yakxy, ggy and daniao.
And I like overcast skies. Those pre-rain kind. Nice and windy.
