ytd talked to gar goei on the phone for abt an hour. he was asking me to help him write a program for some maths-related SRP project. anyway was discussing about his project when he started on talk about his exploits in SIMO and IMO, how about he being at his skill plateau for 2 years already while others getting their skill pops and going onto higher plateaus. Then, it just occurred to me that it is really wierd when gar goei is talking about stuffs like making into the maths olympiad team while ppl are down there struggling to get a pass in h2 maths. inequity i say, something i learnt today while reading econs notes.
