ytd was exactly 1 month to promos. (for some purists, they refuse to call it one month as it was 31 days to promos. they dispute that 1 month can mean either 30, 31, 29 or 28 days. like they have nothing better to dispute).
after h3 chem ytd, went to j8 with cq and sarge, as usual, to have a rest while sarge gets his dinner. then, we talked on a wide range of topics and etc until daniao came. it was really fine, but the fact remains that daniao is not the kind who knows or is really interested in what we were talking about. in the end, daniao, echoing our sentiments, said, "I feel really out of place here cos I do not know what you guys are talking about." Of course daniao, when we engage in guys' talk, we do not expect you to be able to be actively engaging in it unless the sun rises from the west.
tt sounds evil, but hey, if daniao were interested in those stuffs, daniao is no longer daniao, rite?
anyway, this morning went to do some clean up work with chun, ming yan, belinda and xin hui (from geographica) to the waterways watch society at the kallang river near the merdeka bridge. well, we got lost on the way day when we realised tt we were on the wrong side of the river. then, when we arrived, the other school, zhonghua sec, has already started. we went on to our work anyway and there are FREAKIN' damn lot of cigarettes and plastic sheets on the bank of the river. then after arnd half and hr, mingyan started to feel tired and she went to rest while the rest of us continued. anyway, we didnt noe something happened until when we went back and found that she was looking pale (ok she looks pale normally, but she looked pale+++) and another of the volunteer was supporting her. apparently, when she was reaching the bench, she felt dizzy and fell down and promptly scraped her kneecap. took her sometime to recover.
another incident was that xin hui arrived when we finished, thx to chun and mingyan's 1337 directing skills (no wonder chun is director of a filmsoc proj XD). instead of ending up at kallang sea sports club under the merdeka bridge, she was directed all the way to national stadium then to the opposite bank of the river (it was a T-shaped confluence of river, so she was like on the furthest side of the confluence). in the end, she had to walk at the side of the merdeka bridge to reach our side, although we considered asking her to swim across or get a lift from one of the numerous kayaks on the river.
anyway the pic on the left is what the society shows to pri sch kids on presentation called The River Monster. It is made up of rubbish collected from the river patrols over 2 weeks with stuffs like a tennis ball (some1 prolly used too much power while playing tennis at kallang tennis centre), a broom, a lot of cans, a helmet, some pails and a Carrefour trolley (zomgwtfbbq). The volunteers told us they did not really go look for these stuffs, just that they happened to pass by these stuffs. Anyway, they also collected another rubbish bin from The Riverwalk from the river as well. o.O Anyway chun can't resist posing beside the 'Monster' himself.
ok that's enuff crapping for now. back to math. i realised i have only done chem tutorials for the past 2 weeks. time to catch up on others, esp physics.
