ytd was the edb thingy's finals. we bombed out and didn't get the top 3. worse of all, the 1st team was some team we thought would surely be last. maybe a bit of overconfidence here and too much seriousness there and something else just took the magic out of our presentation. it's over anyway.
played soccer during pe. was refreshing and had quite a nice game. it was also surprising to see cq playing as a striker (mr go forced him to play that). he was not bad considering it was his first time playing striker.
today went to ang mo kio with my parents. i have not been there for quite some time and it seems like there was a huge transformation. familiar landmarks were gone and up sprang new ones. now there's a banquet food court in place of the a&w restaurant some years before. the kiddy driving circuit is also gone. but yet some things remain unchanged. Tip-Top curry puff and the kaya ball stall are still there.
i do not know what to write here except angsting and nostalgia. the fountain of reflection has run dry in light of the recent spiritual drought. time to pray for rain again.
