People say that technology brings convenience. I am inclined to think otherwise. Technology just makes you obligated to respond in the fastest time possible. It does not give you the freedom to sit on your response and procrastinate.
Anyway, today I dropped my handphone in my parents' car while taking my shuffle out. I did not realise it until I disembarked from the car. Although I could have ran back to the car to take the handphone, but I thought, "Heck lar. 1 day without handphone won't die." Indeed, I felt a sense of liberation like never before. No more nagging from my mother that I never return SMSes on time, no more missed calls and the ensuing messy explanations after the missed calls.
It felt so good, then my mother decided to do something to bring me back down to earth. In the middle of chem lesson, suwan showed me an sms from our ct. It said, "Pls remind shermon to take his hp from my pigeonhole in the staff room as his mother passed it to me." GGxx. I am sure lor. My mother some paranoid can't even let me off the handphone for 1 day.
Anyway chem lesson was funny today.
First, some people walked past the classroom accompanied with the occasional waving to people inside the classroom. Some girl waved to suwan and she returned the wave. Then, Darren Lai saw it. He walked to the window and waved to the startled girl and said, "Hello. Bye bye."
Next, some class nearby was cheering in some lesson and making a lot of noise. Darren Lai said, "Sounds like their teacher is dead." -_-" After an extended period of such noise, Darren Lai decided to venture out of the classroom for 3 minutes. He returned and said, "Seems like their teacher is not dead yet." -___-'
Third, he was explain solute-solute, solvent-solvent, solute-solvent and solubility. He said how sodium chloride does not dissolve in tetrachloromethane because they prefer to stick to themselves anyway. He added with a straight face, "Just like your class, the guys sitting with the guys and the girls sitting with the girls." And he looked at the 2 empty tables between suwan and me. Everyone laughed. It was really true, there was CQ and me sitting in 1 corner (cos there were no other desirable seats available) and the guys on the other side and the girls just clustered in between.
Shall not comment about chem lecture test result.
Today snowed a bit, but I could still see a bit sunlight. Forecast for tomorrow: Slight snow with more sunlight.
